Lowe's has donation center for Goodwill

Goodwill Industries of North Georgia Inc. has opened a new Attended Donation Center at Lowe's in Fayetteville.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for our customers as well as area residents to recycle and contribute to the good work Goodwill does," said Reggie Summers, Lowe's store manager.

The center is at 1030 Glynn St. north, and is attended by Goodwill employees who assist with donations and provide receipts when needed.

"We're delighted to be able to offer yet another site in conjunction with Lowe's," said Courtney Eskridge, director of corporate development for Goodwill. "This donation center is an excellent example of how Lowe's has been a good corporate neighbor to this progressive community by helping reduce waste in their landfills."

Hours of operation for this donation center are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week. Goodwill industries accepts any usable household items, clothing, toys, books, furniture and small electronic equipment.
