Wednesday, January 10, 2001 Lester achieves specialist designation
Cindy Lester, Tri-City Realty Services, Inc., has completed the educational requirements necessary to achieve designation as a Certified International Property Specialist. Also required was a demonstration of experience in international real estate transactions and participation in related activities. "As real estate ownership becomes more global in nature, its essential that we prepare for new markets and new opportunities. The international community in our own market increases constantly,"according to Lester. Members of the CIPS network are in contact with individuals from the U.S. and the world who share international experience. Additionally, Ms. Lester is designated Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of the National Association of Realtors. She is the third Realtor in Georgia to attain both designations. An active Realtor for the past 25 years, Ms. Lester has been very active in the community as well. A past Chairman of the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce and its Business Person of the Year in 1995, her current activities include Vice-President of Governmental Affairs for the Georgia Association of Realtors and Director of the National Association of Realtors. She also serves as a member of the Business and Industry Council of the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority.
