School starts back Monday

Fayette County students return to school Monday, Jan. 8 following a two-week-plus winter break.

All high school students will make up the exams they missed on the snow day, Dec. 19. Starr's Mill, McIntosh and Sandy Creek high schools have rescheduled all second and fifth period exams for Jan. 8 at their regular times. Fayette County High will administer its third and sixth period exams Jan. 8.

The first day for second semester classes is Tuesday, Jan. 9.

Students who missed a final exam due to illness should contact the school Thursday, Jan. 4 to arrange a makeup exam.
