The South Fulton Police Department sponsored its first Cops for Kids Christmas Party recently.

Newly elected Fulton County Commissioner William "Bill" Edwards gave away four bicycles at the party for needy children. The event showcased the newly formed Fulton County Police Bicycle Unit.

Thirty children housed in Fulton County shelters were invited to participate. The children received presents donated by area citizens and businesses and had the opportunity to be photographed with Santa.
