Police Blotter

The following arrests were reported by the Peachtree City Police Department for the past week:

Joseph Alan Richards, 25, of Attalla, Ala. Dec. 12 for driving without a license and possession of marijuana (less than one ounce).

Billy Joe Gay, 38, of Peachtree City Dec. 18 for burglary, theft and one felony count of obstruction of a police officer.

Kimyada Y. Bush, 27, of Peachtree City Dec. 18 for disorderly conduct.

Vivian R. Hurd, 42, of Peachtree City Dec. 19 for failure to appear in court.

Brian S. Axson, 27 of Peachtree City Dec. 19 for disorderly conduct.

Robert Jones, 22, of Peachtree City Dec. 19 for forgery in the first degree and theft by receiving.

Richard Hoffman Jr., 42, of Peachtree City Dec. 19 for obstructing an emergency telephone call and disorderly conduct.

Harold Robert Henderson, 37, of Peachtree City Dec. 19 for one felony count of obstruction of a police officer and an outstanding warrant from Fayetteville for violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act.

Miriam Lee Rawlin, 46, of Peachtree City Dec. 19 for driving with a suspended license and driving with improper equipment.

Kathy Ann Corley, 41, of Conyers Dec. 22 for driving without insurance and driving with an expired tag.

Judith Ann Verdin, 37, of Peachtree City Dec. 22 for driving without insurance, speeding and driving without a tag.

Cinnamon Nicole Jones, 20, of Riverdale Dec. 22 for driving without insurance and driving with improper equipment.

Morgan Lee Chandler Jr., 54, of Fayetteville Dec. 22 for DUI.

Clayton A. Wampler, 18, of Peachtree City Dec. 23 for escape, obstruction of a police officer and underage possession of alcohol.

Sharlene L. Holm, 38, of Peachtree City Dec. 23 for DUI and making an improper left turn.

Jeffery Bernard Wright, 41, of Newnan Dec. 23 for driving with a suspended license and failure to stop at a stop sign.

A juvenile, 14, of Peachtree City Dec. 24 for simple battery (family violence act) and being a runaway.

Police are also investigating the following incidents:

A 2000 Nissan Frontier XE was stolen from the 500 block of North Fairfield.

A vehicle parked on Dover Trail was entered and 245 music CDs were stolen.

An air compressor was stolen from a home under construction on the 100 block of Maple Grove.

A Georgia Power meter was damaged to a building on Flat Creek Golf Course.

Two tires were damaged to a vehicle parked on the 200 block of Willow Road.
