Wineland represents Knight Realty at Florida conference

Mary Wineland, broker for Knight Realty, joined a select group of more than 120 top new home salespeople and managers at "Selling 2000 and Managing 2000," held at the Marina Marriott in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, from Oct. 17-21.

This five-day program, an annual premier event produced by New Home Specialist Inc., was attended by industry professionals from all across North America, and two participants attending from as far away as New Zealand.

The course was created and led by Bob Schultz, who has been called North America's most effective new home sales and management expert. The seminar included a presentation by Nido Qubein, the recipient of the 2000 Toastmasters International Golden Gavel Award, and a presentation on "Selling to Multicultural Homebuyers" by world-renowned expert and author Michael Lee.

Program highlights also included "Understanding The Business Side of New Home Sales Management," "Creating Win-Win Incentives," "Creating An Effective Sales Process," "Setting The Standard," "A Dozen Strategies to Boost Your Sales Power Now," "Differential Selling," and "Adapting Your Presentation."

Other sessions were devoted to new home sales education and training techniques, Follow Through® systems, Realtor programs and compensation, and incentive strategies.

During poolside lunches, attendees participated in group workshop discussions.

Participants received an in-depth workbook and a certificate of completion and were urged to create a 30-plus step action plan to implement the strategies that were presented.

"In today's market, new home sales is serious business. This course was designed to benefit everyone whose financial success depends upon excellence and consistent performance," said Schultz.
