Prestwick has new marketing team

The mother-and-daughter team of Shirley Dalton and Christy Hogan is handling on-site sales and marketing for Tim Jones Realty in Prestwick, Tim Jones Communities' neighborhood in the River's Edge Plantation master-planned community.

Mrs. Dalton, who has been in real estate for 26 years, started working in the industry with her father, Tom Norris, in the Tri-City section of the Metro South area. For the past 26 years, she has worked primarily in Henry, Clayton, Fayette and Butts Counties.

A board-certified Million Dollar Club member last year, she is a director of the Metro South Association of Realtors, serving as chairman of the association's community service committee and as a member of the education and professional standards committees. She is also a board member for the Haven House.

A Stockbridge resident, she is married to Huey Dalton, and they have three grown children and five grandchildren.

Ms. Hogan received her real estate training through the MLS Institute and has been in the industry for two years, working mostly in Butts, Clayton and Henry Counties. She earned Million Dollar Club membership from the Metro South Association of Realtors last year.

Growing up in Stockbridge, she graduated from Stockbridge High School and attended Clayton College and State University. she has a daughter, Mia, 2.

Prestwick, where there are only five homes still on the market, is part of the River's Edge Plantation community, located along the banks of the Flint River in Clayton County. Most of the unsold homes offer golf course views, and the neighborhood's homes are priced starting at $130,000.
