Cedarcroft now offering pre-sales

Ravin Homes has opened pre-sales in the first phase of Cedarcroft, its new 220-home community off Ga. Highway 54 West in Peachtree City.

Stephanie Griffith, marketing representative in the community, said that a pre-sales reservation can be made with a $500 deposit. She can be contacted at 770-487-9608.

The homes in Cedarcroft have prices beginning at $135,000, and Phase I has a total of 64 homesites. The community is off MacDuff Parkway, which runs off Hwy. 54 west of Ga. Highway 74 North, with St. Albans Way as the entrance road into the community.

Cedarcroft will be Fayette County's first community of modular system-built homes. The manufacturer is Nationwide Homes, a 40-year-old Martinsville, VA, firm, which has a facility in Arabi, GA, where the Cedarcroft homes will be built.

Michael Rossetti, president of Ravin Homes, said that modular system-built homes offer many advantages to the homebuyer.

"They are designed and built in a climate-controlled environment and never affected by bad weather, and they are submitted to 300 inspections to ensure top quality," he explained. "In addition, this type of housing is very cost effective, and they are built in one-third of the time it usually takes to build a house."

He listed other advantages as energy efficiency and use of the latest construction technology.

Ravin Homes, which will complete the homes as they arrive on site in Peachtree City, is offering a number of options for homebuyers, including such things as cabinet selection, hardwood floors, jacuzzi tubs, ceramic tile baths, countertop color selections, and carpet selection.

The Cedarcroft homes will contain from 1,300 to 2,000 sq. ft., and a variety of ranch and two-story designs will be available. Completion of the first homes in the community is expected early next year.

The community's second phase will consist of 81 homes, while the third and final phase will have 75 homesites.
