Brisk sales at SummerGrove draw Wheat to
Market Square

As SummerGrove home sales exceed 300, Pathway Communities has secured its first tenant at the SummerGrove Market Square, a gathering spot designed to have a variety of shops, offices and neighborhood services for SummerGrove residents and the surrounding area.

Parks and Mottola Realtor Keith Brady recently sold SummerGrove's first commercial tract to Wheat Family Dental. Dr. Leo Wheat will be building a 6,500 sq. ft. complex in the Market Square. He plans to occupy half of the space and lease the remaining for commercial or retail use. Dr. Wheat expects to move into the location in the spring of 2001.

A native of Palmetto, Dr. Wheat graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1994 and opened his general dentistry practice in Newnan. When asked about relocating to the SummerGrove Market Square, Dr. Wheat said.

"With our client base growing steadily, the need to move to a larger location has become a necessity. The SummerGrove Market Square provides a great visible location in one of the best-selling master-planned communities in the Atlanta area."

Dr. Wheat's office, along with every SummerGrove Market Square site, will be in keeping with SummerGrove's unique architectural character. It will feature a style similar to the community's Information Center and golf clubhouse.

Pat Heaberg, Pathway Communities vice president of commercial and industrial development, is excited about Dr. Wheat's decision and says more announcements are expected in the near future.

"From a day care center and business offices to restaurants and convenience-oriented retailers, SummerGrove offers a unique setting for businesses to flourish," says Heaberg.

Like SummerGrove's residential area, the SummerGrove Market Square will offer a unique technology program, including structured wiring and the potential for ultra-fast Internet access.

Heaberg believes the technological advantages of SummerGrove's Market Square are a value-added benefit for potential end-users.

In addition to the Market Square, SummerGrove has over five miles of walking trails and pedestrian paths, a 100-acre lake, a competition-size swimming pool and an 18-hole public golf course designed by Jemsek Golf, one of the country's leading public golf course developers.

SummerGrove is located at the intersection of Lower Fayetteville Road and Shenandoah Blvd. in Newnan. For more information on SummerGrove's Market Square, call Pat Heaberg at 770-487-8585.
