Calendar for Advent and Christmas Church Activities
Sat., Dec. 2 Carol service at 6 p.m., McDonough Road Baptist Church, Fayetteville. Community is invited. Sun., Dec. 3 "A Shepherd's Story," at 7 p.m. presented by Fayetteville First United Methodist Church's children's music ministries and a performance by the church's Sonshine Singers. Mon. Dec. 4 Advent healing service for those who suffer seasonal sadness at 7 p.m. at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, Peachtree Pkwy., Peachtree City. Thurs., Dec. 7 Mid-week Advent services with music and scripture at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, Peachtree Pkwy., Peachtree City starting at 7 p.m. Fri., Dec. 8. The Advent Journey, an outdoor dramatization of the events leading up to the birth of the Christ child. On the grounds of Fayetteville First Baptist Church. Hours are 6:30-9 p.m. Continues through Mon., Dec. 11. Sat., Dec. 9 A choral cantata, "Given for You," sung by the Holy Trinity adult choir and hand bell choir. Begins at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Walt Banks Rd., Peachtree City. Sat., Dec. 9 A Christmas musical drama, "In the Fullness of Time," at 6 p.m., Fayetteville Christian Church, New Hope and Hickory roads, Fayetteville. Will be repeated Sun., Dec. 10 at 10:30 a.m. Sun., Dec. 10 A Christmas drama, "Miracle in Bethlehem," will be performed by the youth of Christian Fellowship Church, Norman Drive, College Park.
