Now Playing

102 Dalmations Glenn Close reprises her role as Cruella DeVille as lots of puppies cause lots of mayhem as they foil her evil plans. Rated G.

Bounce This film stars Ben Affleck and Gwyneth Paltrow as a coule. This should be interesting because they were formerly a couple. Other than the love story aspect of this fim, I have no idea what this is about. Rated PG-13.

Charlie's Angels I loved this movie. I laughed practically the entire time I was in the theater and when I wasn't laughing, my jaw was on the floor. The action scenes were terrific and the girls are beautiful. You will have a good time at this movie. Rated PG-13.

Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas Jim Carrey plays the Grinch with all the over-the-topness that people either love or hate. I think he is very funny and I trust Director Ron Howard to make a good movie out of the classic story. This should be the big holiday picture, so get ready for big lines and enjoy. Rated PG.

Little Nicky Hooray! A new Adam Sandler movie and this one stars Harvey Keitel and Patricia Arquette. This was very funny and full of SNL alums. Rated PG-13.

Meet the Parents Here is my pick for a sleeper hit of the year. This film was hysterically funny and one could really feel the embarrassment of Ben Stiller's character. It was sometimes painful to watch because the situation got worse and worse. See this film you won't be disappointed. Rated PG-13.

Men Of Honor Cuba Gooding Jr. and Robert Deniro play scuba divers in the Navy. Deniro takes on a southern acent and Gooding Jr. demands rspect. This looks very serious and very good. rated R.

Red Planet A crew goes to Mars and is attacked by machines. Why can't we have Mars being populated with humanoid type aliens that fight with water or food? Rated PG-13.

Remember The Titans Based on the true story of Virginia's first integrated high school football team, this film stars Denzel Washington and is fun for the whole family. Rated PG.

Rugrats in Paris If you are a fan of Rugrats or you have some rugrats of your own, head to this film. The kids would probably enjoy the Grinch more though. Rated G.

The Legend of Bagger Vance Filmed in Savannah, this film is about a golfer finding redeption thanks to a ghostly caddy. Directed by Robert Redford, expect luscious scenery and excellent performances. Matt Damon and Will Smith star. Rated PG-13.

The Sixth Day Arnold Schwarzenegger stars as a man and his clone in thios action movie looking to cash in on the sci-fi action genre now that the iron is hot again. Arnold needs a good movie to make up for his last few films, let's hope this one is it. Rated PG-13.

Unbreakable Bruce Willis reteams with M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense) in this film about a man who was the sole survivor of a train crash. This could be really good. Rated PG-13.

Also Playing

Almost Famous This was an excellent movie about rock and roll and growing up. Written and directed by Cameron Crowe (Say Anything and Jerry Maguire), this film had great heart as well as a great sense of humor. Oh, and the soundtrack is spectacular as well. This is the best film at the dollar theater. Rated R.

Bring It On This is a movie about cheerleaders fighting to be number one. It did pretty well at the box office and with critics and is most likely worth a dollar. Rated PG-13.

Digimon A Pokemon clone hit the theaters for about two weeks. it will be here for about two weeks and then it will be on video. If your kids want to see it, be afraid. Be very afraid. Rated G.

Disney's The Kid Bruce Willis plays a mean, old 40 year old who rediscovers being nice and following his dreams when he meets himself as an eight year old. I won't stand in your way of seeing this, but I won't go with you. Rated PG.

Godzilla 2000 The Japanese were disappointed with the American Godzilla film, so they put the guy in the suit again and went off to destroy lots of models. I was never a huge fan of Godzilla movies, but a bad movie is fun every now and then. Maybe this is your bad movie. Rated PG.

Nutty Professor II: The Klumps I am not easily offended, but this movie succeded to offend me. It was awful and one of the worst movies I have ever seen. And I like Eddie Murphy and enjoyed the first film. Waste a dollar if you must. Rated PG-13.

Scary Movie First off, this movie is inappropriate for nearly everybody. It is Rated R and parents should consider that a hard "R." Secondly, I thought it was hysterical. I laughed a lot and will probably see it again. So, keep the kids away and if this looks like your cup of tea, enjoy. Rated R.

The Cell I heard the visuals in this film are great, but I also heard the acting is flat, the story is lame and the topics are nightmarishly disturbing. The film stars Jennifer Lopez and Vince Vaughn. If you want to see this, go for it. Rated R.

The Perfect Storm A bunch of Gloucester fishermen get stuck in one of the worst storms in history. George Clooney (The Facts of Life) and Mark Wahlberg star in this action-packed blockbuster. Rated PG-13.

The Replacements No, this is not a biopic about Minnesota's greatest band. This film is about the scab players who played football during an NFL strike. This was very funny and fairly accessible as a family film, more so than the Nutty Professor II. Keanu Reeves stars, but there is no slow motion Kung Fu. Rated PG-13.

What Lies Beneath Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfeiffer star in this thriller that lasted a long time in the big theaters and with good reason. It was fun and scary and aimed at adults without being aimed atthe lowest common denominator. Rated R.
