USO seeks sweets for soldiers

It's time for "Operation Sweet Delivery," supporting U.S. men and women in the armed services.

USO needs holiday treats to serve the military attending the organization's programs and services this holiday season.

Countless troops will travel through Atlanta's Hartsfield International Airport in the next two months. USO of Georgia's Jean Roberts Amos Center in the terminal atrium will host the military and their families during flight layovers and at special holiday programs.

For information on donating sweets, baked goods or other items, contact USO at 404-761-8061. USO is a civilian, nonprofit charitable agency.
