PTC library to host adoption seminar

A program on the various types of adoptions will be offered at the Peachtree City Library Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m.

The program will be presented by University of Georgia student Katie Gresham, who is currently performing an internship studying the various varieties of adoptions. Gresham will cover the pros and cons of domestic, international and foster adoptions.

Anyone who hopes to adopt a child is invited, and parents of adopted children also are invited.

November is celebrated as Adoption Month and the library has a display featuring the commemorative 33 cent U.S. stamp and several books on adoption.
