With a focus on "engaging the private sector," this year's national Smart Growth Conference, coming to Atlanta for the first time, will feature nationally renowned experts demonstrating smart growth strategies from around the country.

As part of the conference, Atlanta's Smart Growth Partnership, including the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, will showcase how members of the private and public sector are collaborating in Atlanta to produce livable solutions to the challenges of growth in the 21st century.

Mobile tours of several Atlanta sites will include Post Riverside, Atlantic Station, Historic Westside Village, the Lindbergh transit-oriented development, East Lake neighborhood and the city of Decatur.
