Clayton State to hold a chorale concert next week The Clayton College & State University Chorale and Chamber Chorale are having their annual Fall Concert on Nov. 17, at 8:15 p.m. in Spivey Hall on the Clayton State campus in Morrow. The concert is free of charge and open to the public. Students and faculty are encouraged to bring friends and family members for an enjoyable evening featuring the Chorale's talented musicians. The Chorale will be featuring selected works by Finzi, Bainton, Shephard, Haydn, and others. The Chamber Chorale will be featuring selected works by Britten, Brahms, Palestrina, Henderson, and others. The Chorale and Chamber Chorale are under the direction of Dr. Shaun Amos, CCSU director of Chorale Activities. Under Amos' direction, the Clayton State Collegiate Chorale has sung at the 1998 ACDA Southern Regional Convention, the 1999 world premiere of the choreographed Poulenc Gloria with the Atlanta Ballet, and won the prestigious Gold Award for College and University choirs at MusicFest Canada in Toronto.
