Wednesday, November 8, 2000 Camp is Pathway's newest VP Pathway Communities has announced the promotion of Dan Camp to vice president and general manager of the southwest region. "Since joining the Pathway Communities team in 1998 as vice president of land acquisition, Dan has proven he can make things happen on a large scale," says Pathway Communities Chief Operating Officer Wray Russell. In his new role, Camp will be responsible for coordinating production, communications and sales and marketing for SummerGrove, Avery Park and Peachtree City. He will also be actively involved in the broader marketing and branding efforts of Pathway Communities and will continue to facilitate land acquisition as the company ventures into other areas of the Atlanta region. Prior to joining Pathway Communities, Camp was a vice president for the Nicklaus/Sierra Development Company. Camp is currently affiliated with the Urban Land Institute, the American Society of Landscape Architects, the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America and Habitat for Humanity. He is a licensed landscape architect and licensed real estate sales person in both Georgia and Florida. Camp's community development experience includes such projects as Country Club of the South (Atlanta), Wynstone (Chicago), Tampa Palms, Avila andMeadow Pointe (Tampa), English Turn (New Orleans), Country Club of Louisiana (Baton Rouge) and The Bluffs at Horseshoe Bay (Door County, Wisconsin). Pathway Communities is currently developing SummerGrove And Avery Park in historic Newnan, Monarch Village in Henry County and Peachtree City in Fayette County.
