Bowers completes RLI site selection course

Professional Realtor Sam Bowers, associate broker at Newnan's Parks & Mottola Realtors, recently completed the Realtor's Land Institute (RLI) Site Selection Course.

The course, "Analyze market opportunities for development land," covered a variety of topics including how to project demand for development land in order to identify and analyze specific sites. Analysis of demographic growth trends and resources as they relate to determining the best site for a specific use, and applying those principles to specific property types were also covered in the course.

"As a Realtor specializing in land transactions, RLI-sponsored courses such as the Site Selection Course are an invaluable way for me to expand my expertise," explains Bowers. "In a booming market like Coweta and Newnan, learning about development land is a virtual must."

Bowers serves on the Board of Directors of the Realtor's Land Institute (Georgia Chapter). RLI is an affiliate of the 700,000-member National Association of Realtors. Established more than 50 years ago, RLI is dedicated to improving the professional competence of its members in land brokerage.

RLI is the only association of realtors that focuses on five specialized land brokerage transactions: plantations and timberland, undeveloped tracts of land, transitional and development, subdivision and wholesaling of lots, and site selection and assemblage of land parcels.

Using RLI knowledge to better serve his local clientele, Bowers brings more than just sales and marketing ability to land transactions. Land value information, data about timber and soils (for commercial and investment properties), and experience in zoning and land planning are just some of the advantages buyers and sellers receive when working with Bowers.

For additional information or to schedule a complimentary market analysis of your home or land, Bowers can be reached at Parks & Mottola at 770-253-7005 or by e-mail at sbowers@parksandmottola.com.
