Wednesday, November 8, 2000 Local group hosts 'Builders Night' Local home builders were featured at the recent "Builders' Night," presented by the Sales & Marketing Council of the Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia. Peggy Forrest, a Sales & Marketing Council officer who presided at the meeting, said the event is held so council members will be able to get to know local builders, builder agents, and loan officers. Sponsoring the event, held at the DuRoc Cafe in Fayetteville, were J & J Custom Homes, Jeff Betsill Homes, Entrust Mortgage, and Douglas Pest Control. Betsill, the 1999-2000 president of the Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia, introduced the builders in attendence, including the following: Mac McKinney of McKinney Builders, who builds in Arbor Springs Plantation in Coweta County and also in Peachtree City. Jeff Ellis of ParkLand Homes, who is currently building in Horseman's Run in Fayette County. Michael Rossetti of Ravin Homes, who is currently building in Brechin Park just south of Peachtree City, StoneBriar in Fayetteville, and Cedarcroft in Peachtree City. Dennis Floyd of Chatham Homes, who is building in SummerGrove and Avery Park in Newnan, The Peninsula in Peachtree City, and a new development near Fayette Pavilion. Mark Jones and Brian Jones of J & J Custom Homes, who are currently building in Senoia and in Henry County. Betsill of Jeff Betsill Homes, who is currently building in Senoia, McDonough, and in several locations in Fayette County.
