Three men pleaded guilty to various charges in Fayette County Superior Court Friday morning before Judge Ben Miller.

Jeffrey Bryan Osby pleaded guilty to two counts of child molestation and received a sentence of five years in prison followed by five years probation. Miller made counseling a requirement of his probation.

Juan Salazar pleaded guilty to driving while declared a habitual violator and driving without a license. He was sentenced to five years probation and a $1,500 fine.

Johnny Lee Hill pleaded guilty to theft by receiving stolen property and was sentenced to 12 months in jail.

Miller also reduced the bail of a man accused of cruelty to children from $50,000 to $25,000. Tommy Smith's attorney, Tony Hight, said Smith had been in jail for four months and his friends could raise money to post bond if it were more reasonable.

Assistant District Attorney Tom Isom said Smith was accused of injuring an 11-month-old child. The child's older brother claims Smith injured the child after getting angry at it for crying, Isom said as he opposed the bond reduction.

Smith was babysitting the two children for his live-in girlfriend at the time, Isom said.
