Beautification committee to meet Oct. 16

Peachtree City's Beautification Committee will meet Monday, Oct. 16, at 6:30 p.m. at the Kedron Fieldhouse and Aquatic Center at 202 Kedron Drive.

The committee plans to discuss several items, the majority of which are community projects such as the 2001 Arbor Day Tree and Bulb Planting and the Georgia Native Plant Garden at the amphitheater.

The committee is also developing a Tree City USA program for the city and a city tree farm.

Members of the public and those interested in joining the committee are invited to attend the meeting.
