Senoia opens its doors By JOHN THOMPSON Several historic homes and churches of Senoia will be hosting a tour of homes tomorrow. The town is an intact 19th and early 20th century town of more than 100 structures which are striking examples of late Victorian, Greek Revival, and Bungalow Craftsman architecture designated on the National Register of Historic Places. The tour is scheduled to commemorate the anniversary of Senoia Day as declared by the governor in 1989. The tour is sponsored by the Senoia Area Historical Society and the Senoia Coffee Company. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $12 each and may be purchased at the Senoia Coffee House, or phone Pat Thompson at 770-599-0166 for tickets or information. Lunch on the day of event is available at local restaurants, including the Senoia Coffee Company. High tea will be served on the day of the event by the Culpepper House (reservations are required for the tea/call 770-599-8182).
