Court Report

These people pled guilty to the following crimes in Fayette County Superior Court last week:

Charlma Robertson of Fayetteville, for eight counts of deposit account fraud and one count of theft by deception. Sentenced to five years in prison followed by five years probation and $49515 in restitution.

Lamar E. Shanks of Atlanta, for entering an automobile. Sentenced to five years in a detention center and a $1,000 fine.

John Ray Christian of Ellenwood, for theft by receiving. Sentenced under the first offender act to five years probation and a $1,500 fine.

Charles C. White III of College Park, for criminal attempt to commit theft by taking, theft by receiving stolen property and obstruction of a police officer. Sentenced to 12 months probation and a $1,500 fine.

Reginald Bivins of College Park, for theft by shoplifting. Sentenced to three years probation and a $1,000 fine.

Jermaine Strickland of Atlanta, for entering an automobile. Sentenced under the first offender act to five years probation and a $1,000 fine.

Lonnie Ferrol Giles of Sharpsburg, for failure to stop at a stop sign and driving without proof of insurance. Sentenced to 12 months probation and a $275 fine.

Matthew Christopher Maddox of Senoia, for aggravated assault. Sentenced to 12 months probation and a $300 fine.

Brenda Joyce Ivy Bowman of Fayetteville, for one felony count of theft by shoplifting. Sentenced to 10 years probation, with the first year on home confinement and intensive probation.

Micah Isreal Walker of Duluth, for theft by taking, possession of cocaine and possession of a schedule II drug. Sentenced to three years prison followed by four years probation.

Quinton Varnard Woodson of Macon, for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, carrying a concealed weapon and permitting an unlicensed person to drive. Sentenced to two years in prison followed by three years probation.

Dane Berry Coleman of Jonesboro, for two counts of theft by shoplifting and one count of obstruction of a police officer. Sentenced to five years in prison followed by two years probation.

Dwight Lamar Head of Atlanta, for financial transaction card fraud, giving false information to a police officer and possession of marijuana (less than one ounce). Sentenced to one year in prison followed by two years probation.

Brian Keith Coldmon of Stone Mountain, for forgery in the first degree, theft by shoplifting and giving false information to a police officer. Sentenced to one year in prison and four years probation.
