Auditions for Pooh Christmas play held soon

Auditions for "A Winnie-The-Pooh Christmas Tail" will be held on Monday, October 23 at La Fayette Educational Center Cafeteria

There are eight roles are available for ages 9 to 16 years, one small role for a small child from 6 to 8 years and one small role for an adult male.

The roles are:

Christopher Robin---Male age 9 to 12 (Soloist)

Winnie-The-Pooh--Male or Female 10 to 16 (Soloist)

Piglet--Male or Female 9 to 12 (Strong Singing Voice)

Eeyore--Male or Female 10 to 16 (Soloist)

Rabbit---Male or Female 10 to 16 years (Soloist)

Tigger--Male or Female 10 to 16 years (Soloist)

Owl--Male or Female 10 to 16 years (Strong Singing Voice)

Kanga--Female 12 to 16 years (Strong Singing Voice)

Roo--Male or Female 6 to 8 years (Small speaking, singing and dancing role)

Santa Claus--Adult Male (Only appears at very end of show and will be available after show for photos with audience. Will sing finale song with rest of cast.)

The audition schedule is as follows:

Ages 6 to 12 arrive at 5:00 p.m.

Ages 13 to Adult arrive at 6:30 p.m.

(Note: Performers auditioning in the first time frame may be asked to stay and read with the second group if you are being considered for a role.)

Auditions will consist of singing, dancing, improvisation and cold reading.
