Catholic College Fair this Sunday Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City will host the second annual Catholic College Fair Sunday, Oct. 8, at McIntosh High School's cafeteria between 7:30 and 9p.m. or after the 6 p.m. Lifeteen Mass. Representatives from the following colleges and universities will be in attendance: Belmont Abbey College, Belmont, N.C.; Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C.; Christendom College, Front Royal, VA; Christian Brothers University, Memphis, TN; College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, MA; Fairfield University, Fairfield, CT; Franciscan University of Steubanville, Steubenville, OH; Loyola University of New Orleans, New Orleans, LA, Marquette University, Marquette University, Milwaukee WI; Marymount College, Tarrytown, NY; Mount St. Mary's College, Emmitsburg, MD; Providence College, Providence, RI; Regis College, Weston, MA; St. Anthony's College (in formation) Atlanta, GA; St. Bonaventure University, St. Bonaventure, NY; Sait. Leo University, Saint Leo, FL; St. Mary's College, Notre Dame, IN; University of Dallas, Irving, TX; University of Dayton, Dayton, OH; and the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, IN. Fr. James Heft, S.M., recent chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities, will be the principle celebrant and homolist at the 6 p.m. Mass. He has contributed chapters to five books, and has authored more than 100 articles including, "Theology in a Catholic University," printed in Origins. Heft teaches undergraduate and graduate students, and is chancellor of the University of Dayton, Dayton, OH. He chairs the Commission on Catholic Scholarship, an international group of 25 scholars and educational leaders working to establish a national freestanding Catholic Institute for Advanced Studies. In 1977, he was appointed as higher education's representative to the U.S. Catholic Conference's Committee on Education. Holy Trinity Catholic Church and McIntosh High School are located side-by-side on Walt Banks Road, accesible from either Ga. Highway 54 or Peachtree Parkway.
