New park completed in Riverwalk

Crown River continues to fulfill its commitment to preserve green space with the recent opening of a new park in the community's upscale Riverwalk neighborhood.

River Park features an abundance of mature trees, walking paths, a gazebo and beautifully landscaped open space. The park also connects to a nature trail following the winding path of Big Cotton Indian Creek. Many of the elegant custom homes in Riverwalk will face the park, creating an atmosphere of charm and sophistication.

Homes in Riverwalk feature the most exciting custom designs and family-friendly floor plans in Henry County. Homesite sizes range from 3/4 acre to one full acre and most are bordered by the natural beauty of Big Cotton Indian Creek. The neighborhood's location along the creek generates a lot of excitement with new home buyers, and that excitement will only increase with the opening of River Park, according to Dottie Wise, new home sales specialist at Crown River.

“People are choosing to live at Riverwalk because they want to be close to the river,” said Wise. “But the most sought-after homesites in Riverwalk will be the ones across from the park.”

Jeff and Trisha Harville are the newest residents of Riverwalk at Crown River. The new park was just one of the many reasons the Harville family chose Riverwalk.

“We looked around a lot, but we kept coming back to Crown River,” said Jeff. “The schools, amenities and open spaces — you can't beat it anywhere in Henry County.”

Riverwalk is one of three neighborhoods at Crown River, where homes are priced from the $140s to the $400s. The community offers one of the most exciting amenity packages in south metro Atlanta, with more than 35 acres of recreation including a nature preserve along Big Cotton Indian Creek, walking trails, neighborhood parks, and a community club with playground, swimming pool, lighted tennis courts and pavilion.

To visit Crown River, take I-75 to Exit 228 (Ga. Highway 138). Go east, then turn right in front of Wal-Mart. Go through Stockbridge, turn right on Miller's Mill Road and left on Ga. Highway 155. Turn right on Kelleytown Road, right on Airline Road and Crown River is on the left — only 20 minutes from I-75.
