| Voter registration
drives are planned
The Fayette County Board of
Elections is reminding local residents that if you want to vote in the
Nov. 7 General Election, you must be registered by Oct. 10.
You can register at the board's office in the County Administrative Complex,
140 Stonewall Ave., Fayetteville. Phone 770-460-5730 for information.
Also, a series of voter registration drives will be conducted during September,
all of them from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., as follows:
Sept. 11 and 12 at McIntosh High School.
Sept. 13 and 14 at Sandy Creek High School.
Sept. 18 and 19 at Starrs Mill High School.
Sept. 20 and 21 at Fayette County High School.
