Police Blotter

The following arrests were reported by the Peachtree City Police Department for the past week:

William D. Moseley, 29, of Fayetteville, Aug. 25 for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Justin P.T. Moore, 19, of Peachtree City, Aug. 29 for failure to appear in court.

Katherine L. Torijano, 43, of Columbus, Aug. 29 for driving with a suspended license and driving with an expired tag.

Eric V. Roth, 23, of Peachtree City, Aug. 30 for driving on a revoked license.

Jose O. Flores, 20, of Chamblee, Aug. 30 for driving without insurance, driving without a license and speeding.

Joseph A. Strickland, 21, of Riverdale, Aug. 30 for leaving the scene of an accident and reckless driving.

Bobby G. Thompson, 26, of Brooks, Aug. 31 for possession of an open container of alcohol and failure to appear in court.

Zelma R. Anderson, 26, of Monroe, Aug. 31 for failure to appear in court.

Clay L. Starling, 35, of Clarksville, Aug. 31 for driving without insurance.

Kurry G. Hixson, 26, of East Point, Aug. 31 for violation of probation.

Jamal H. Hambrick, 21, of Forest Park, Aug. 31 for violation of probation.

Mathew H. Gholston, 29, of Forest Park, Sept. 2 on a warrant from Fulton County for criminal trespassing.

Sandra D. Hussie, 25, of Peachtree City, Sept. 3 for driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.

Police also are investigating the following crimes:
A hit-and-run case that occurred Sept. 3 at 5 p.m. at the intersection of Peachtree Parkway and Waterwood Bend when a black passenger vehicle, possibly a Pontiac Grand Prix, struck a vehicle and left the scene.

A business on Falcon Drive was burglarized with several items removed from the premises.

A blue Grand Marquis parked in the 100 block of Wisdom Road was damaged.

A school bus parked at Braelinn Elementary was damaged when a window was shattered.

A person spray painted trees and landscaping at the 100 block of Wynnmeade Parkway.
