Four qualify for Senoia elections

By JOHN THOMPSON

The story in this year's municipal elections in Senoia is old versus new.

Two council posts are up for grabs and the existing councilmen, Kyle Frank and Judy Belisle, decided not to seek re-election.

When the qualifying ended last Friday, four residents had qualified. Pam Youngblood, who is current chairman of the Planning Commission, is making her first run for a council post.

Former councilman Ken Gordon, who grew up in Senoia, decided to make another run this year.

Long-time resident Sonny Duke also qualified and political and city newcomer Darren Ratajski rounds out the field.

The elections are set for Nov. 7 and the top two vote getters will sit on the City Council starting in January.
