Fayette committee organized for Bush

Georgians for Bush Fayette County Chairman Greg Dunn has announced the formation of a 14-person team to work for the election of Republican Texas Gov. George W. Bush as president.

Named to the committee are Dr. Tom Williams, Janet McGregor, Harold Bost, Nancy Sullivan, Marilyn Ingham, Peter Pfeifer, Carol Chandler, Glen Gosa, Tate Godfrey, Herb Frady, Dot Kite, Carl Davis, Chris Clark and Kathy Chamberlin.

The committee is part of the statewide Georgians for Bush organization, which is seeking to attract Republicans, independents and Democrats to work for Bush’s election.

“The fact that county leaders have been able to assembly such inclusive committees throughout the state demonstrates just how widespread and enthusiastic the support for the Bush/Cheney ticket is,” said Eric Tanenblatt, Georgia Bush for President campaign chairman.
