Boy scouts are on the recruiting trail

Boy Scouts Coweta district executive Todd Bennett will visit boys from first to fifth grade at several Coweta schools.

The Boy Scouts are recruiting new Cub Scouts to local packs to introduce what scouting is all about.

The evening following his visit to each school, Bennett will be with area volunteers and personnel from the local packs to sign up the boys.

Each evening program begins at 6:30 p.m. in the school’s cafeteria or other designated location. If the evening that the round ups are taking place at your child’s school is inconvenient, phone Bennett at 770-252-6091 or the Flint River office at 770-227-4556.
