Senoia's bank to get remodeled

To celebrate the renovation of its main office in Senoia, the Board of Directors and officers of Farmers and Merchants Community bank recently hosted a shareholders reception and open house.

“These events allowed us to showcase our new look here at the main office,” said bank President Tom Dunlap. “With the renovation, we were able to enhance our work environment and create additional space to better serve our customers. We are proud to be a traditional bank with a focus on the future.”

According to Dunlap, visitors to the bank will notice the impact of the renovation immediately. The lobby and teller line were reconfigured to be more efficient, the lighting was improved throughout, and additional office space created.

The entire renovation was completed in approximately 90 days and the bank maintained business as usual throughout the construction process with all of the work being done after hours.
Farmers and Merchants Community Bank is locally owned and operated and has served the citizens of Coweta County since 1874. In addition to its main office, the bank has branch offices in Sharpsburg and Newnan.
