The August meeting of the Fayette County NAACP will be this Saturday, Aug. 12, at 4 p.m. at the Fayette County Public Library.

A planning session for the Freedom Fund Banquet, scheduled for Nov. 4, also will be on the agenda, along with a general discussion of issues of concern to the members.

This year's Freedom Fund theme will focus on truth and diversity.
