Collins U.S. Rep. Mac Collins has
been endorsed for reelection by the National
Federation of Independent Businesses, along with
six Georgia colleagues.
They
have been fighting the good fight against
spendthrift Washington bureaucracy and red
tape, said Pete Havel, NFIB regional grass
roots political director.
NFIB,
which represents about 9,000 Georgia businesses,
designates as guardians of small
business congressmen who support issues
identified by the group as pro-small
business.
Each
of these candidates well exceeded that threshold
in the 105th Congress, said Dennis
Whitfield, NFIB senior vice president.
In
addition to the endorsement, each of the seven
congress members will receive campaign
contributions from Save America's Free Enterprise
Trust, NFIB's political action arm.
Collins
represents Fayette and the other counties of the
3rd District of Georgia.
