The creators of Wallace and Gromitt bring their
whimsical vision of chickens flying the coop to
the screen. Mel Gibson stars as an American
rooster that helps the chickens avoid being made
into pie. This looks amazing. Rated G.
The In Crowd
A teen horror film about how far some people will
go to be popular and how much further others will
go to stay popular. Rated PG-13.
Loser Jason
Biggs (American Pie) and Mena Suvari (American
Beauty) play American kids at a college in
America (New York City). This was directed by Amy
Heckerling, who gave the world Fast Times at
Ridgemint High and Clueless. I say give it a
chance. Rated PG-13.
Me, Myself and
Irene This movie is hysterically funny.
The audience laughed like little girls. And
though Jim Carrey is the star, and he is
terrific, this is not, repeat, NOT, for children.
Rated R.
Pokemon the Movie
2000 Since bashing Pokemon last fall, I
have become a moderate fan of the televison
program. However, the last movie was horrible.
This will have to be much better to jumpstart the
show's waning popularity and get me in the
theater. Rated G.
Scary Movie
The long-awaited spoof of the recent teen horror
flicks finally hits the screen. Brought to by the
Wayans Brothers, if you liked I'm Gonna Git

Menace, this film is right up your alley.
Please don't allow young children to see it,
There are a lot of adult themes. Rated R.

history. George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg star in

Thomas and the
Magic Railroad A young girl goes to a
magical world on the way to her grandfather's
house. Based onthe hit children's series, this
film stars Alec Baldwin and Peter Fonda. Rated G.
What Lies Beneath
Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfeiffer star
in this thriller form Robert Zemeckis (Forrest
Gump). Let's face it, Ford needs a solid hit
again and Pfeiffer could use one too. I would
hate to have the taste of Dangerous Minds and
Random Hearts in my mouth for too much longer.
Besides, the previews look really good. Rated R.
X-Men
Mutants are everywhere and they can kick evil's
butt. All of your favorite X-Men are here:
Wolverine, Magneto, Cyclops, Storm and Professor
X. This movie, directed by Bryan Singer (The
Usual Suspects, Apt Pupil) looks really exciting.
Check it out. Rated PG-13.

flight. The flight crashes and they were supposed
to be on it, now Death is stalking them. Rated R.
Flintstones in Viva
Rock Vegas The world didn't really want
another Flintstones movie and I didn't really
want to write anything about it. I guess at $1 a
pop, it might be worth 90 minutes in an artically
air conditioned environment. Rated PG.
Love and Basketball
Omar Epps stars in this film about a boy
and girl who play basketball and fall in love.
Supposedly, it is a very good film. Rated PG-13.
