The first school open house for the 2000-2001 school year is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 7 at Starr's Mill High School, 6 - 7:30 p.m.

Sandy Creek High School will have its ninth grade orientation 4 - 6 p.m. -Tuesday, Aug. 8.

All Fayette County elementary schools will host open houses 3 - 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10. McIntosh High School's ninth graders also will have their orientation the 10th at designated times between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 11, Rising Starr Middle School will welcome its sixth graders between 1 and 3 p.m. Seventh and eighth graders may visit the school between 3 and 5 p.m.

Several schools will host their back-to-school meetings Sunday, Aug. 13. J.C. Booth will be open 3 - 6 p.m.; Fayette County High School will be open 2 - 4 p.m.; Whitewater Middle School will have open house 2 - 4 p.m., and Flat Rock Middle School will be open 3 - 5 p.m.

McIntosh High School will delay its open house until Aug. 29, 7 - 9 p.m.
