A proposal for Hooters in Fayetteville will be considered again by the Planning and Zoning Commission at its regular meeting Tuesday night. Also on the agenda is the proposed annexation of the Deer Pointe development on Ga. Highway 54 at the western end of the city. The commission meets at 7 p.m. at City Hall. Offshoot Productions is presenting “The Frog Prince” and “The Further Adventures of Maide Marian” at the Lafayette Educational Center on the old Fayette County High School campus through July 30. Tickets are $5. Regular performances of “Maide Marian” are 8:00 p.m. on July 21-22; 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 27; and 3 p.m. on July 29-30. “Frog Prince” performances are 3:00 p.m. on July 22-23; 10:30 a.m. on July 27; and 8:00 p.m. on July 28-29. Although tickets will be sold at the door, they are also available in advance at the Fayette Book Shop, the Omega Book Center, the Peachtree City Library, and the Fayette County Library. Fayette Community Theater is presenting “Guys and Dolls” through this weekend at Sams Auditorium. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children over the age of 2.
