For the second year in a row, a fishing rodeo for disabled children will be held at Line Creek Nature Center Pond. The event, which begins Saturday at 8 a.m. and lasts until 3 p.m., will be open to all children beginning at 11 a.m. No reservations are required, and participants under 16 don't need a fishing license, either. Bait and fishing rods will be available to the children. The fishing will take place from the banks of the pond or the accessible fishing dock. The rodeo is sponsored by the Southern Conservation Trust and the Rotary Club of Peachtree City. The Line Creek Nature Area is located on Ga. Highway 54 just west of the intersection at Ga. Highway 74. Turn into the Days Inn parking lot and left into the nature area. The pond is a few hundred yards down the gravel road on the right.
