The Fayetteville Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to meet Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at City Hall.

Among the agenda items slated for consideration are development plans and a highway buffer variance request from Carolyn Ford, a revised preliminary plat for Lakeside on Redwine, development plans for the Georgia 85 retail center on S. Glynn Avenue, development plans for Walgreen's drug store at Banks Road and Ga. Highway 314, a variance request for Woodbyne subdivision, and elevations for Phase II of The Avenues at Fayette Pavilion.

Play continues throughout the weekend in the 2000 Fayette County Summer Baseball Classic with games at all four county high schools.

Today at Fayette County High the action starts at 10:30 with the first of five games. Fayette Co. Black takes on Northgate at 5:30, followed by Fayette Co. #1 against Gresham Park at 8.

At McIntosh, Starr's Mill #2 faces Mt. Zion at 3:00 and McIntosh hosts Eagle's Landing at 5:30.

Fayette Co. Gold squares off against Calloway at Starr's Mill at 2:30, then Starr's Mill #1 plays Fayette Co. Gold at 5:00. The first game at Starr's Mill starts at noon.

Three games at Sandy Creek commence at 3:00, with the host team facing Griffin at 8:00.
