Local law officers honored

The Optimist Club of Fayetteville recognized two local law enforcement officers in participation with “Respect For Law” day.

Club member D. C. Pratt gave a plaque to Master Patrol Officer Debbie Chambers, city of Fayetteville, and one to Deputy Sheriff Robert Hullett, Fayette County Sheriff's Department.

Standing with Chambers was Capt. Harold Simmons, Fayetteville Police Dept. She was recognized for her work with youth and the degree of professionalism shown her fellow officers and the citizens of Fayetteville.

Hullett was accompanied by Major Ken Rhodes, Director of Field Operations. Hullett was recognized for his total cooperation and ability to work with and through any difficulty. He is with the Patrol Services Division of Field Operations.
