| National Merit
winners named Four Fayette
County seniors have been awarded National Merit
$2,000 scholarships. They were selected from
approximately 15,000 high school seniors who
reached the finalist level in the year 2000
National Merit Program.
The
students are William Adams, Fayette County High
School; Erin Bartels, McIntosh High School;
Maryann Vellanikaran, Woodward Academy; and Lisa
Landis, Starr's Mill High School.
