Fayetteville's Main Street Board of Directors has two new members.

Nancy Price, vice president of Regions Bank on West Lanier Ave., and Gary Baumgardener, owner of Home Designs on South Glynn Street were named to the board by City Council recently.

The board works on projects designed to revitalize downtown Fayetteville and preserve its historical character.

In moving that council name the new members, Councilman Glenn Brewer thanked retiring board members Lane Brown and Mike Faulkner for their service to the organization.

Both had indicated a willingness to continue serving, but neither lives or works in the downtown area and council decided to appoint members who do.

Other currently serving board members are Chairman Al Hovey-King, Jamie Wyatt, Patsy Gullet, Robert Sprayberry, Kathy Erickson, Herbie Youngs, Sam Burch and Gary McGaha.
