Otis McDaniel, a district sales manager with G.D. Searle of Atlanta, was installed as a member of the Board of Director of Girl Scouts of Pine Valley Council at the council's recent annual meeting in Peachtree City.

He will fill a two-year unexpired term.

A resident of Fairburn, McDaniel is a graduate of Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Ala., where he received a B.S. degree in science. He has 24 years in military reserve logistics and carries the rank of lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves.

McDaniel is a member of Newnan Chapel United Methodist Church and has served as past president with honors of Kiwanis International.
