Plans to refurbish the Brooks Municipal Complex, formerly known as Hardy Hall, are still underway.

It is expected to come to a vote at a June Town Council meeting.

During recent council action, two new members to the town Library Board were added: Cindy Weatherup and Gail Otwell. They will serve four-year terms.

Huie Bray, town planning and zoning administrator, presented a new zoning map for a final inspection and vote. The current one dates to 1992 and since then an annexation has taken place as well as several rezonings and corrections.

The map was approved unanimously and can be viewed at the Town Hall.
