Group VI Corporation has moved into its new corporate headquarters in Peachtree City, the company annoucned last week. After 12 years in the Eagle's Landing area of Henry County, Group VI is now in the Westpark Office Center. The company was founded in 1988 by Jim Pace and Ron Williamson. Continued rapid growth is given as the reason for the move to a larger space. Fayette County has become home to the majority of the Group VI employees and we were trying to locate near our labor force, said Pace. Peachtree City, known for its excellent quality of life, was the logical choice. Henry County has been very good to Group VI for over a decade, he added. We plan to maintain a strong presence in the market and with our many friends, clients and associates. Pace has been active in many civic and professional organizations throughout the community. Having recently completed a four-year term on the City Council of Peachtree City, he was named 1999 Fayette County Businessman of the Year by the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce. Group VI is among the largest construction companies in the Atlanta region and was named the seventh fastest-growing privately held company in the area during 1999 by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
