Board shuffles principals

Two elementary school principals in Peachtree City are trading places next year.

Lynda Lambeth, priancipal of Huddleston Elementary School, will take over as principal of Peachtree City Elementary, and that school's principal, Becky Maddox will become principal of Huddleston.

The announcement was one of 10 administrative adjustments approved by the Fayette County Board of Education Monday night.

Additional transfers include:

Karen Bullock, assistant principal of Brooks Elementary, to assistant principal at Spring Hill Elementary.

Patsy Slagle, assistant principal at Kedron Elementary, to assistant principal at Fayetteville Primary.

Kim Harron, assistant principal at Spring Hill Elementary, to assistant principal at Kedron Elementary.

Donna Vining, special education coordinator, to assistant principal, Brooks Elementary.

Dawn Davis, assistant principal at Flat Rock Middle, to assistant principal/teacher at Fayette County High.

Mike Duncan, assistant principal, Flat Rock Middle, to assistant principal at Oak Grove Elementary.

Jerry Whitaker, coordinator of vocational education/facility planning, to director of vocational education/facility planning.

Cheryl Feil, from the secretary to assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction to appropriate opening.

There are openings for two assistant principals at Flat Rock Middle School and for a coordinator of special education.
