Michael W. Perry of Fayetteville, a member of Boy Scout Troop 631 of Woodward Academy, has received his Eagle Scout Award. His Court of Honor ceremony was conducted recently at the school chapel.

Perry's Eagle project was designing, building and setting up permaanent benches for Owl Rock aUnited Methodist Church. His scouting experience began as a member of Tier Cubs in the first grade.

In Boy Scouts, he earned 36 merit badges and in 1996 participated in the Northern Tier Adventure in Canada.

Perry is a junior at Woodward, is a member of New Hope Baptist Church and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Perry.
