FCT auditions set

Fayette Community Theatre, Inc. will hold auditions for its first Broadway musical, “Guys and Dolls” on Saturday, May 20 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the former Fayette County High School band room, now LaFayette Education Complex.

About 40 to 50 singers, actors and dancers age 14 and above are needed. There is also a call-out for orchestra musicians.

Call backs for reading auditions is on Monday, May 22 between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. Casting is set for May 24 with the first read-through scheduled for Friday May 26 between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Performances will be July 13,14, 15,16,20,21 and 22 at Sams Auditorium in Fayetteville, under the direction of Ryan Pierini, a 1993 graduate of McIntosh High School.

Complete casting needs include 45 actors, chorus, five musicians, two set designers, one sound technician, one light technician and one stage manager. Musician's needed include one each on keyboard, percussion and woodwind and two brass.
