Criminal jury trails next week in Superior Court

A week of criminal jury trials is scheduled to begin Monday morning in Fayette County Superior Court.

Here is a summary of the current calendar, with defendants listed in alphabetical order (some of these cases could plead out before trial or be postponed):

Dewey Lee Ayres, Jr. — theft by receiving stolen property.

Davon Lamaal Berry — forgery in the first degree, giving false information, violation of seatbelt law.

Mark Eugene Blessitt — burglary.

Russell D. Bignardi — theft by conversion.

Fabian Blanco-Gomez — forgery in the first degree.

Carolyn Joan Brown — possession of a Schedule III drug.

Kelly Shawn Brown — sale of cocaine.

Johnny Earl Byrom, Jr. — possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

Henry Norman Campbell, Jr. — burglary, theft by receiving stolen property, forgery in the first degree, possession of marijuana, driving with a suspended license.

Willie F. Carter — trafficking in cocaine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during commission of a crime.

Kimberly W. Dallas — theft by taking.

Robert Christopher Elliott — burglary.

Kevin Khal Hannani — entering an automobile with intent to commit theft.

David Noal Henderson — possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Artis Lee Holder — theft by receiving, criminal attempt, possession of marijuana (less than one ounce), no driver's license on person.

Gayle Jenkins — theft by shoplifting, giving false information.

Brandon Elliot Johnson — theft by receiving stolen property.

Edward Joiner — cruelty to children.

Malik Samore Jones — theft by receiving stolen property, simple battery, expired tag, defective equipment, seatbelt violation.

John Lanier Lorton — possession of cocaine.

Jeffrey W. Lymon — theft by taking.

Willie Mayze — forgery in the first degree (two counts), theft by receiving stolen property, giving false information to law enforcement.

Robert Campbell Meadows — theft by shoplifting.

Randy D. Middlebrooks — financial transaction card fraud.

Steven Richard Minton — child molestation.

Timothy Michael Moffett — financial transaction card fraud (two counts).

Ricardo Monroe — possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, improper stopping on roadway, driving with a suspended license.

Billy Ray Moore — speeding, reckless driving, failure to stop at a stop sign, suspended license, no seatbelt, driving under the influence of alcohol, endangering a child by driving under the influence, obstruction of an officer, eluding, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Cynthia Moore — theft by shoplifting.

Jewell Kenneth Padgett, III — obtaining a controlled substance by fraud, forgery in the first degree.

Billy Wayne Phillips — driving while a habitual violator, simple assault (two counts), driving under the influence of alcohol.

James Boyd Rawlins — cruelty to children, battery.

Charlma Robertson — deposit account fraud (three counts), theft by deception, giving false information to an officer.

Tammy Juanita Roper — theft by taking (motor vehicle).

Lamar E. Shanks — entering an automobile.

Mary Tina Stevenson — obstruction of an officer, theft by shoplifting.

Horace Donald Vessell — cruelty to children.

Robbie Lynn Banks Walden — forgery in the first degree, giving false information to an officer, failure to wear a seatbelt.

Sheila Werner — possession of a controlled substance.

Candace Marie Wheeler — statutory rape, aggravated child molestation (three counts), incest, child molestation (two counts), distribution of obscene material, sexual exploitation of a child, contributing to the deprivation of a minor.

Mark Anthony Wheeler — incest, child molestation (two counts), aggravated child molestation, rape, sexual exploitation of children, distribution of obscene material.

Larry White — sale of cocaine.

Robert Scott White — possession of cocaine, fraudulent attempt to obtain a refund, disorderly conduct.

Lando Woodard — theft by receiving stolen property, obstruction of an officer, seatbelt violation.

Vionta Yancey — criminal attempt of burglary.
