CCSU sets graduation Clayton
College & State University's 30th anniversary
graduation ceremony will be Saturday, May 6, at 9
a.m.
The commencement
exercises will be by the edge of recently named
Swan Lake, the CCSU campus' landmark 12-acre
lake. In case of rain, the ceremonies will be in
the CCSU Athletics and Fitness Center, also on
the CCSU main campus in Morrow. A total of 400
students are eligible to graduate this May.
Approximately 10
percent of the school's student body comes from
Fayette County.
In one of his final
official acts as CCSU's CEO, interim President
Michael F. Vollmer will preside over the 2000
graduation. Vollmer will conclude his year-long
duties leading CCSU June 1, when Thomas K.
Harden, Ph.D. will officially become the fourth
president since the school's founding in
September 1969.
