The Fayette Young Republicans and Aaron's Systems Inc. of Fayetteville will host a 2000 qualifying kickoff cookout Monday, featuring Republican candidates for local and state office.

The event will be at the line Creek Nature Preserve on Ga. Highway 54 west in Peachtree City 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

A donation of $5 is requested. The cookout is open to the public.
